Comrade Ordzhonikidze,

I received your letter. It is good that you managed to spend nearly a month in the Urals. I am against episcopal visits "for an hour" — noisy but fruitless episcopal visits. But I am entirely for such trips — prolonged (one to two months) and serious trips, which bring benefit both to the work and to the traveler, but do not create unnecessary commotion.

It is good that you have decided to go on leave. Stop by my place on the way — I shall be glad.

Greetings!

I. Stalin.
