Sochi, October 25, 1934.

Comrade Dimitrov,

I received your letter. I am late with my reply, as you see, for which I ask your forgiveness. I am here on leave and do not sit in one place but wander from one corner to another, which is why I could receive your letter only with some delay...

I am entirely in agreement with you regarding the revision of the methods of work of the Comintern organs, their reorganization, and the change of their personnel. I already spoke to you about this once during our conversation at the CC of the VKP(b).

Now the matter is to give the propositions of your letter a concrete form, to outline new forms of the Comintern organs, to outline their personnel, and to determine the moment to which the practical implementation of this task should be timed.

I hope we shall see each other soon and discuss all of this in detail.

I have no doubt that the Politburo of the CC of the VKP(b) will support you. Greetings!

I. Stalin.
