Copy: to the Commander of the forces of the Volkhov Front.

Since the Leningrad Front has proved incapable of competently organizing the crossing of the Neva River and, through its inept actions, has stupidly thrown away a large number of commanders and soldiers, the Stavka of the Supreme Command orders that operations for the crossing of the Neva River be temporarily halted.

A detailed plan for the crossing of the Neva River is to be submitted for approval by the Stavka.
