On December 8, the twice-decorated M.V. Frunze Red Army Military Academy marks the 25th anniversary of its founding.

Created in the first year of the Civil War, the Academy over its 25 years of existence has provided the Red Army with numerous cadres of well-prepared commanders, standing at the level of contemporary military art, devoted to the Bolshevik Party and the Socialist Motherland.

The Academy's numerous graduates — officers and generals stationed on the fronts of the Patriotic War — skillfully organize and successfully wage the struggle against the German-fascist invaders.

Noting the services of the Military Academy before the Red Army and the Motherland, I express confidence that its command staff and professorial-teaching staff will, as before, be guided in their creative work by the striving to provide the Red Army with energetic officers who know their military craft.

The cause of victory over the enemy demands constant and deep study of the experience of the Patriotic War and the immediate application of that experience in the troops. In the solution of this most important task, the M.V. Frunze Military Academy, as before, must justify its high calling as the foremost center of military-scientific thought of the Red Army.

I congratulate the command staff, professorial-teaching staff, and students of the twice-decorated M.V. Frunze Military Academy on the day of its 25th anniversary and wish the Academy further success in its creative work.
