The troops of the 4th Ukrainian Front today, November 26, captured on the territory of Czechoslovakia the cities of Mikhaylovtse and Humenne — important communications junctions and strongpoints of the enemy's defences.

In the battles for the capture of the cities of Mikhaylovtse and Humenne, the following distinguished themselves: the troops of Colonel-General Grechko, Major-General Gastilovich, Lieutenant-General Gordeyev, Major-General Zaporozhchenko, Major-General Vedenin, Major-General Melnikov, Major-General Dremin, Colonel Shuba, Major-General Grinchenko, Major-General Gladkov, Major-General Lisinov, Major-General Bezhko, Major-General Prokhorov, Major-General Dudarov, Colonel Vasilyev, Colonel Ugryumov, Colonel Tetenko, Colonel Chorny; the artillerymen of Lieutenant-General of Artillery Kariofilli, Major-General of Artillery Brichenka, Major-General of Artillery Naydenko, Colonel Chengery, Colonel Dzhiga, Colonel Brozgol, Colonel Mironov, Colonel Khanovich, Colonel Tsivchinsk, Major-General of Artillery Zhiburkus, Colonel Pavlenko; the tankmen of Major-General of Tank Forces Shiroboko, Major-General of Tank Forces Raikin, Colonel Serov, Colonel Morus, Colonel Khopko, Lieutenant-Colonel Olkhovenko, [Colonel] Vasilyev; the airmen of Lieutenant-General of Aviation Zhdanov, Lieutenant-General of Aviation Naneyshvili, Major-General of Aviation Golovnya, Major-General of Aviation Kotelnikov, Major-General of Aviation Lakeyev, Colonel Chuk, Colonel Obukhov; the sappers of Major-General of Engineer Forces Kolesnikov, Major-General of Engineer Forces Govorov, Colonel Shurin, Colonel Barash, Colonel Davidenko, Lieutenant-Colonel Barkalov; the signal troops of Lieutenant-General of Signal Forces Matveyev, Colonel Belyanchik, Colonel Nekrasov, Colonel Yefimov, Colonel Stepanyan, Lieutenant-Colonel Nuzhdin.

In commemoration of the victory achieved, the formations and units that most distinguished themselves in the battles for the capture of the cities of Mikhaylovtse and Humenne are to be submitted for decoration with orders.

Today, November 26, at 22:00 hours, the capital of our Motherland Moscow, in the name of the Motherland, salutes the valiant troops of the 4th Ukrainian Front who captured the cities of Mikhaylovtse and Humenne with twelve artillery salvoes from one hundred and twenty-four guns.

For the excellent combat operations I declare gratitude to the troops under your command who participated in the battles for the liberation of the cities of Mikhaylovtse and Humenne.

Eternal glory to the heroes who fell in the battles for the freedom and independence of our Motherland!
