Allied Artillery Plant Named After I.V. Stalin of the People's Commissariat of Armaments. To the director of the plant, Comrade Elyan, the chief engineer, Comrade Olevsky, the party organizer of the CC of the VKP(b), Comrade Linev, and the chairman of the plant committee, Comrade Lubyako. June 6, 1945.

I congratulate the glorious collective of workers, engineering and technical personnel, and employees of the Allied Artillery Plant Named After I.V. Stalin on a great production victory — the output of the one-hundred-thousandth cannon — and on the awarding of the plant, in connection with this, of the Order of the Patriotic War, First Degree.

Thanks to your heroic labor, the valiant Red Army received a continuous stream of first-class artillery armaments, which, in the skilled hands of our artillerymen, became the decisive force ensuring the rout of Hitlerite Germany and the victorious conclusion of the war.

I wish you new successes in the matter of producing cannons and equipment for the oil industry, which is extremely necessary for our national economy and the Red Army.

I. Stalin
