Several days ago the Provisional Government ordered the Anarchists to be evicted from the Durnovo villa. This essentially unjust order roused a storm of indignation among the workers. They undoubtedly regarded it as an attack on the right of existence of this or that organization. We are opposed to the Anarchists in principle; but inasmuch as they are supported by a section of the workers, however small, they have as much right to exist as, say, the Mensheviks and the Socialist-Revolutionaries. To that extent the workers were right in protesting against the Provisional Government’s attacks, the more so that, apart from the Anarchists, the villa is being used by representatives of several factories and trade unions.
Our readers know that by their protest the workers compelled the Provisional Government to yield and to leave them in possession of the villa.
It now transpires that a new workers’ demonstration is being “organized” at the Durnovo villa. We are informed that meetings of factory committee representatives, headed by the Anarchists, are taking place at the villa with a view to organizing a demonstration today. If this is true, then we declare that we most emphatically condemn all isolated, anarchic demonstrations. We regard demonstrations of separate districts or regiments headed by the Anarchists, who have no understanding of present conditions, demonstrations organized against the wishes of the majority of the districts and regiments, against the wishes of the Trade Union Bureau and the Central Council of Factory Committees, and, lastly, against the wishes of the socialist party of the proletariat—we regard such anarchic demonstrations as disastrous to the cause of the workers’ revolution.
It is right and necessary to defend the right of existence of organizations, including anarchist organizations, when attempts are made to deprive them of their premises. But to merge with the Anarchists and engage with them in reckless demonstrations which are doomed to failure beforehand is impermissible and criminal on the part of class-conscious workers.
Our comrades, the workers and soldiers, should ponder the question well: what are they, Socialists or Anarchists? and if they are Socialists, let them decide for themselves whether they can march shoulder to shoulder with Anarchists in demonstrations which are obviously ill-considered and contrary to the decision of our Party.
Comrades, by our attempt to demonstrate on June 10 we got the Executive Committee and the Congress of Soviets to recognize the need for demonstrations. You no doubt know that the Congress of Soviets has appointed a general demonstration for June 18 and has declared in advance that there will be freedom of slogans.
It is now our task to see to it that the demonstration in Petrograd on June 18 marches under our revolutionary slogans. We must therefore nip in the bud every attempt at anarchic action, in order the more energetically to prepare for the demonstration on June 18. Oppose isolated demonstrations and support the general demonstration on June 18—that is what we urge. Comrades, time is precious; do not lose a single moment! Let every factory, every district, every regiment and company prepare its banners inscribed with the slogans of the revolutionary proletariat. Let everyone get to work, comrades, let everyone prepare for the demonstration on June 18.
Oppose anarchic demonstrations, support the general demonstration under the banner of the party of the proletariat. Such is our call.

Несколько дней назад Временное правительство постановило очистить дачу Дурново
от анархистов. Постановление это, в корне неправильное, вызвало бурю негодования
среди рабочих. Нет сомнения, что рабочие усмотрели в этом постановлении
посягательство на право той или иной организации на существование. Мы против
анархистов принципиально, но, поскольку за анархистами стоит хотя и небольшая
часть рабочих, они имеют такое же право на существование, как, скажем,
меньшевики и эсеры. В этом смысле рабочие были правы, протестуя против покушений
Временного правительства. Тем более, что кроме анархистов дачей пользуются ещё
несколько заводов и профессиональные союзы.
Читатели знают, что в результате своего протеста рабочие добились уступки со
стороны Временного правительства, оставив дачу за собой.
Теперь оказывается, что на даче Дурново “организуется” новое выступление
рабочих. Нам сообщают, что на даче Дурново происходят собрания представителей
заводских комитетов, во главе с анархистами, с целью устроить сегодня
демонстрацию. Если это верно, то мы заявляем, что осуждаем самым решительным
образом всякие разрозненные, анархические выступления. Демонстрации отдельных
районов и полков во главе с не разбирающимися в условиях момента анархистами,
демонстрации, устраиваемые вопреки большинству районов и полков, вопреки бюро
союзов и центральному совету заводских комитетов, вопреки, наконец,
социалистической партии пролетариата,– такие анархические демонстрации мы
считаем пагубными для дела рабочей революции.
Можно и нужно защищать право организаций, в том числе и анархистов, на
существование, когда хотят их оставить без крова. Но сливаться с анархистами и
предпринимать вместе с ними безрассудные выступления, заранее обречённые на
неудачу,– это недопустимо и преступно со стороны сознательных рабочих.
Пусть товарищи рабочие и солдаты подумают хорошенько: кто они, социалисты или
анархисты, и если они социалисты – пусть решают, могут ли они идти рука об руку
с анархистами на явно необдуманные выступления, вопреки постановлению нашей
партии.
Товарищи! Своей попыткой демонстрировать 10 июня мы добились того, что
Исполнительный комитет и съезд Советов[30] признали необходимость демонстрации.
Вы знаете, должно быть, что съезд Советов назначил на 18 июня всеобщую
демонстрацию, объявив заранее свободу лозунгов.
Теперь наша задача – добиться того, чтобы демонстрация в Петрограде 18 июня
прошла под нашими революционными лозунгами.
И именно поэтому мы должны в корне пресечь всякие анархические выступления для
того, чтобы тем энергичнее подготовиться к демонстрации 18 июня.
Против разрозненных выступлений, за всеобщую демонстрацию 18 июня – вот к чему мы призываем вас.
Товарищи! Время дорого – не теряйте же ни одной минуты! Пусть каждый завод,
пусть каждый район, пусть каждый полк и рота готовят свои знамена с лозунгами
революционного пролетариата. Все за работу, товарищи, все за подготовку
демонстрации 18 июня.
Против анархических выступлений, за общую демонстрацию под знаменем партии
пролетариата – таков наш клич.

Hace unos días, el Gobierno Provisional ordenó que se desalojase a los anarquistas de la casa de campo de Durnovo. Esta disposición, por completo injusta, provocó una tempestad de indignación entre los obreros. Indudablemente, éstos vieron en ella un atentado al derecho a la existencia de cualquier organización. Nosotros estamos, por principio, contra los anarquistas; pero tomando en consideración que les apoya una parte, si bien pequeña, de los obreros, tienen tanto derecho a la existencia como, por ejemplo, los mencheviques y los eseristas. En este sentido, los obreros tenían razón al protestar contra los ataques del Gobierno Provisional. Y tanto más, por cuanto la casa la utilizan, además de los anarquistas, varias fábricas y sindicatos. Los lectores saben que los obreros han conseguido con su protesta que el Gobierno Provisional cediese y les dejara en posesión de la casa de campo. Ahora, según resulta, en la casa de campo de Durnovo se “organiza” otra acción de los obreros. Nos comunican que allí se celebran reuniones de representantes de los comités de fábrica, con los anarquistas a la cabeza, para celebrar hoy una manifestación. Si esto es cierto, hacemos saber que condenamos del modo más categórico toda acción dispersa, anárquica. Consideramos las manifestaciones de distritos o regimientos aislados, encabezadas por los anarquistas, que no saben apreciar las condiciones del momento; las manifestaciones organizadas en contra de los deseos de la mayoría de los distritos y de los regimientos, contra la voluntad del Buró de los Sindicatos y del Consejo Central de los comités de fábrica, contra la voluntad, por último, del Partido socialista del proletariado; consideramos esas manifestaciones anárquicas como funestas para la causa de la revolución obrera. Puede y debe defenderse el derecho a la existencia de las organizaciones, incluidas las anarquistas, cuando quieren privarlas de sus locales. Pero fundirse con los anarquistas y participar a su lado en acciones insensatas, condenadas de antemano al fracaso, es inadmisible y criminal por parte de los obreros conscientes. Los camaradas obreros y soldados deben reflexionar: ¿qué son socialistas o anarquistas? Si son socialistas, que decidan si pueden lanzarse, del brazo de los anarquistas, a acciones a todas luces impremeditadas y contrarias a la decisión de nuestro Partido. Camaradas: Con nuestro intento de manifestarnos el 10 de junio, logramos que el Comité Ejecutivo y el Congreso de los Soviets30 reconocieran la necesidad de la manifestación. Sabéis, sin duda, que el Congreso de los Soviets ha fijado para el 18 de junio una manifestación general y ha declarado de antemano que habrá libertad de consignas. Ahora, nuestra tarea consiste en lograr que la manifestación del 18 de junio en Petrogrado desfile bajo nuestras consignas revolucionarias. Y precisamente por ello, debemos cortar de raíz toda acción anárquica, a fin de prepararnos con mayor energía para la manifestación del 18 de junio. Contra las acciones dispersas, por la manifestación general del 18 de junio: he aquí a lo que nosotros os llamamos. ¡Camaradas, el tiempo apremia, no perdáis ni un minuto! Que cada fábrica, que cada distrito, que cada regimiento y cada compañía preparen sus banderas con las consignas del proletariado revolucionario. Manos a la obra, camaradas; que cada uno participe en los preparativos de la manifestación del 18 de junio. Contra las acciones anárquicas, por la manifestación general bajo la bandera del Partido del proletariado. Tal es nuestra consigna.
