La contrarrevolución se moviliza. ¡preparad la replica!
The revolution lives. Having thwarted the Kornilov “revolt” and stirred up the front, having swept the towns and awakened the industrial districts, it is now spreading to the countryside and sweeping away the hated pillars of landlord rule.
The last prop of compromise is falling. The fight against the Kornilov revolt dispelled the compromise illusions of the workers and soldiers and rallied them around our Party. The fight against the landlords will dispel the compromise illusions of the peasants and muster them around the workers and soldiers. In a fight against the defencists, and in spite of them, a revolutionary front of workers, soldiers and peasants is being built. In a fight against the compromisers, and in spite of them, this front is growing and becoming stronger.
The revolution is mobilizing its forces and expelling the Menshevik and Socialist-Revolutionary compromisers from its midst. At the same time the counter-revolution is also mobilizing its forces. The Cadet- Party, that hotbed of counter-revolution, is the first to start the fight by agitating on behalf

of Kornilov. Having taken over the power and unchained Suvorin’s yelping curs, having cloaked itself in the mantle of the Socialist-Revolutionary-MenshevikKornilov Pre-parliament and assured itself the support of the counter-revolutionary generals, the Cadet Party is plotting another Kornilov revolt and threatening to crush the revolution.
The Moscow “Union of Public Men,” that union of lockout-men and of the “gaunt hand of famine,” which helped Kornilov to strangle the soldiers and workers and to disperse the Soviets in the rear and the Committees at the front, is convening three days from now a “second Moscow Conference,” to which it is urgently inviting representatives of the “Union of Cossack Troops.”
At the front, particularly in the South and the West, a secret league of Kornilovite generals is feverishly organizing a new attack upon the revolution, and is mustering all the forces suitable for this foul “work.” . . . And the Kerensky government, the government which in conjunction with Kornilov hatched the plot against the revolution, is preparing to flee to Moscow in order, after surrendering Petrograd to the Germans, to hatch another and more formidable plot against the revolution in conjunction with the Ryabushinskys and Buryshkins, the Kaledins and Alexeyevs.
There is no possible room for doubt. In opposition to the front of revolution, a front of counter-revolution, a front of the capitalists and landlords, of the Kerensky government and the Pre-parliament is forming and gaining strength. The counter-revolutionaries are plotting another Kornilov revolt.
The first Kornilov conspiracy was thwarted; but the counter-revolution was not crushed. It merely retreated, hid behind the back of the Kerensky government and entrenched itself in new positions. The second Kornilov conspiracy, now being hatched, must be utterly crushed in order to safeguard the revolution for good. The first counter-revolutionary offensive was thwarted by the workers and soldiers, by the Soviets in the rear and the Committees at the front.
The Soviets and Committees must take every measure to ensure that the second counter-revolutionary offensive is swept away by the full might of the great revolution. Let the workers and soldiers know, let the peasants and sailors know that the fight is for peace and bread, for land and liberty, against the capitalists and landlords, against the profiteers and marauders, against the traitors and treasonmongers, against all who do not want to put an end once and for all to the Kornilovites who are now organizing.

Революция живет. Сорвав корниловский “мятеж” и раскачав фронт, облетев города и
оживив фабричные районы, – она перекидывается теперь в деревню, сметая
ненавистные устои помещичьей власти.
Падает последняя опора соглашательства. Борьба с корниловщиной смела
соглашательские иллюзии рабочих и солдат, сплотив последних вокруг нашей партии.
Борьба с помещиками сметет соглашательские иллюзии крестьян, собирая их вокруг
рабочих и солдат.
В борьбе с оборонцами и вопреки им складывается революционный фронт рабочих,
солдат и крестьян. В борьбе с соглашателями и вопреки им растет и укрепляется
этот фронт.
Революция мобилизует свои силы, выбрасывая из своей среды соглашателей из меньшевиков и эсеров.
Вместе с тем мобилизует свои силы и контрреволюция.
Партия кадетов, гнездо и рассадница контрреволюции, первая открывает борьбу,
ведя агитацию за Корнилова. Забрав власть в свои руки и спустив с цепи шавок
суворинской подворотни, прикрываясь эсеро-меньшевистско-корниловским
предпарламентом и обеспечив себе поддержку со стороны контрреволюционных
генералов, – партия кадетов готовит новую корниловщину, грозя разгромом
революции.
“Союз общественных деятелей” в Москве, союз локаутчиков и “костлявой руки
голода”, тот самый, который помогал Корнилову душить солдат и рабочих, разгонять
Советы в тылу и Комитеты на фронте, – этот союз созывает через два дня “второе
Московское совещание”, усиленно приглашая на это совещание представителей “союза
казачьих войск”.
На фронте, особенно на юге и западе, тайный союз корниловских генералов
лихорадочно организует новый поход против революции, собирая вокруг себя все
силы, годные на черную “работу”...
А правительство Керенского, то самое, которое вместе с Корниловым организовало
заговор против революции, готовится к бегству в Москву для того, чтобы, сдав
немцам Петроград, организовать вместе с Рябушинскими и Бурышкиными, вместе с
Каледиными и Алексеевыми новый, более грозный заговор против революции.
Сомнения невозможны. В противовес фронту революции складывается и крепнет фронт
контрреволюции, фронт капиталистов и помещиков, правительства Керенского и
предпарламента. Контрреволюция готовит новую корниловщину.
Первый заговор корниловщины был сорван. Но контрреволюция не была сломлена. Она
только отступила, спрятавшись за спиной правительства Керенского и укрепившись
на новых позициях.
Готовящийся ныне второй заговор корниловщины должен быть в корне раздавлен,
чтобы надолго оградить от опасности революцию.
Первое выступление контрреволюции было сорвано силами рабочих и солдат, силами
Советов в тылу и Комитетов на фронте.
Советы и Комитеты должны принять все меры к тому, чтобы второе выступление
контрреволюции было сметено всей мощью великой революции.
Пусть знают рабочие и солдаты, пусть знают крестьяне и матросы, что борьба идет
за мир и хлеб, за землю и свободу против капиталистов и помещиков, против
спекулянтов и мародеров, против изменников и предателей, против всех, кто не
хочет раз навсегда покончить с организующейся корниловщиной.
Корниловщина мобилизуется, – готовьтесь к отпору!

La revolución vive. Después de desbaratar la “sublevación” korniloviana y de poner en pie al frente, después de recorrer las ciudades y de animar los distritos fabriles, se propaga ahora al campo, barriendo los odiados puntales del Poder terrateniente. Se desploma el último pilar de la política de componendas. La lucha contra la korniloviada ha disipado las ilusiones conciliadoras de los obreros y de los soldados, uniéndolos en torno a nuestro Partido. La lucha contra los terratenientes disipará las ilusiones conciliadoras de los campesinos, agrupándolos en torno a los obreros y a los soldados. En la lucha contra los defensistas, y a despecho de ellos, se forma el frente revolucionario de los obreros, los soldados y los campesinos. En la lucha contra los conciliadores, y a despecho de ellos, crece y se vigoriza este frente. La revolución moviliza sus fuerzas, arrojando de su seno a los mencheviques y eseristas conciliadores. Al mismo tiempo, también la contrarrevolución moviliza sus fuerzas. El partido demócrata constitucionalista, nido y vivero de la contrarrevolución, es el primero en abrir el fuego con su propaganda en favor de Kornílov. Después de tomar el Poder y de soltar los perrillos falderos de la cancela de Suvorin, encubriéndose con el anteparlamento eserista-menchevique-korniloviano y habiéndose asegurado el apoyo de los generales contrarrevolucionarios, el partido demócrata constitucionalista trama una nueva korniloviada, amenazando con aplastar a la revolución. La “Unión de personalidades públicas” de Moscú, la unión de los lockoutistas y de la “mano descarnada del hambre”, la misma que ayudara a Kornílov a estrangular a los soldados y los obreros, a disolver los Soviets en la retaguardia y los Comités en el frente, esa unión convoca para dentro de dos días la “segunda Conferencia de Moscú”, invitando insistentemente a asistir a ella a representantes de la “Unión de las tropas cosacas”. En el frente, sobre todo en el Sur y en el Oeste, la alianza secreta de los generales kornilovianos organiza febrilmente una nueva campaña contra la revolución, agrupando a su alrededor a todas las fuerzas capaces de realizar un “trabajo” abyecto... Y el gobierno Kerenski, el mismo que organizó con Kornílov el complot contra la revolución, prepara la fuga a Moscú, para entregar Petrogrado a los alemanes y organizar con los Riabushinski y los Burishkin, con los Kaledin y los Alexéiev un nuevo complot, aun más peligroso, contra la revolución. No hay lugar a dudas. Como contrapeso al frente de la revolución, se forma y robustece el frente de la contrarrevolución, el frente de los capitalistas y de los terratenientes, del gobierno Kerenski y del anteparlamento. La contrarrevolución trama una nueva korniloviada. El primer complot de la korniloviada fue desbaratado. Pero la contrarrevolución no fue vencida. No hizo más que retroceder, ocultándose tras las espaldas del gobierno Kerenski y afianzándose en nuevas posiciones. El segundo complot de la korniloviada, que ahora se está gestando, debe ser aplastado de raíz, para preservar por largo tiempo de peligros a la revolución. La primera intentona de la contrarrevolución fue desbaratada por las fuerzas de los obreros y de los soldados, por las fuerzas de los Soviets en la retaguardia y de los Comités en el frente. Los Soviets y los Comités deben adoptar todas las medidas necesarias para que la segunda intentona de la contrarrevolución sea barrida por la fuerza poderosa de la gran revolución. Sepan los obreros y los soldados, sepan los campesinos y los marinos que se lucha por la paz y el pan, por la tierra y la libertad, contra los capitalistas y los terratenientes, contra los especuladores y los bandidos del comercio, contra los traidores y los desleales, contra todos los que no quieren terminar de una vez para siempre con la korniloviada en gestación. La korniloviada se moviliza, ¡Preparad la réplica!
