Pravda was born in the waves of the revolutionary upsurge during the famous “Lena events.” The appearance of Pravda, the newspaper for the masses of the workers, precisely during those days marked: 1) the passing of the period of general weariness in the country following the Stolypin regime of “peace and quiet,”
2) the mighty awakening of the Russian working class for a new revolution, the second after the 1905 revolution,
3) the beginning of the winning of the broad masses of the working class to the side of the Bolsheviks. The Pravda of 1912 was the laying of the cornerstone of the victory of Bolshevism in 1917.

“Правда” родилась в волнах революционного подъема в знаменитые “ленские дни”.
Появление на свет массовой рабочей газеты “Правды” в эти именно дни знаменовало
собой:
1) ликвидацию периода общей усталости в стране после столыпинской “тишь да гладь”,
2) мощное пробуждение русского рабочего класса к новой, второй после 1905 года, революции,
3) начало завоевания широких масс рабочего класса на сторону большевиков.
“Правда” 1912 года – это закладка фундамента для победы большевизма в 1917 году.
