The shooting down of the Lena workers in April fifteen years ago was one of the bloodiest atrocities of the tsarist autocracy. The gallant fight of our comrades slain by tsarist bullets in the far-off taiga has not been forgotten by the victorious proletariat. Looking back on the path they have travelled, the workers of the Soviet Union can say: Not a single drop of the blood of the Bodaibo workers was shed in vain, for the enemies of the proletariat have received their deserts, and the proletariat has already established its victory over them. Now, delivered from tsarist and capitalist oppression, you are in a position to mine gold on the banks of the Vitim not for the enrichment of parasites, but for the enhancement of the might of your own workers’ state, the first of its kind in the world. Honour and glory to those who laid down their lives fighting for the victory of the working class! Greeting you, dear comrades, on this day of remembrance of the heroic struggle of our fallen comrades, permit me to express my confidence that you will firmly and unswervingly carry on the struggle for the full victory of socialism in our country. Апрельский расстрел ленских рабочих 15 лет тому назад был одним из самых
кровавых злодеяний царского самодержавия. Отважная борьба товарищей, павших в
далекой тайге от царских пуль, не забыта победившим пролетариатом. Оглядываясь
на пройденный путь, рабочие Советского Союза могут сказать: ни одна капля
рабочей крови бодайбинцев не пропала даром, ибо враги пролетариата получили
возмездие, а пролетариат уже добился своей победы над ними.
Ныне, свободные от царского и капиталистического гнета, на берегах Витима вы
имеете возможность добывать золото не для обогащения тунеядцев, а для укрепления
мощи первого в мире, своего рабочего государства.
Честь и слава павшим в борьбе за победу рабочего класса!
Приветствуя вас, дорогие товарищи, в этот день воспоминаний о героической борьбе
павших товарищей, позвольте выразить уверенность в том, что вы твердо и
неуклонно будете продолжать дело дальнейшей борьбы за полную победу социализма в
нашей стране.

La matanza de los obreros del Lena, en abril de hace 15 años, fue uno de los crímenes más sangrientos de la autocracia zarista. El proletariado triunfante no ha olvidado la valiente lucha de los camaradas caídos en la lejana taigá, víctimas de las balas del zarismo. Mirando el camino recorrido, los obreros de la Unión Soviética pueden decir: los obreros de Bodaibo no derramaron ni una gota de sangre en vano, pues los enemigos del proletariado han sido castigados y el proletariado ha obtenido ya la victoria sobre ellos. Ahora, libres del yugo del zar y de los capitalistas, podéis obtener oro en las orillas del Vitim no para enriquecer a parásitos, sino para fortalecer el poderío de vuestro propio Estado, del primer Estado obrero del mundo. ¡Honor y gloria a los caídos en la lucha por el triunfo de la clase obrera! Al saludaros, queridos camaradas, en este día de recordación de la heroica lucha de los camaradas caídos, me permito expresar la seguridad de que continuaréis firmes e inquebrantables la lucha por la victoria completa del socialismo en nuestro país.
