The strengthening of the defence of the Soviet Union is the cause of all the working people.
The proletarians of Leningrad were in the foremost ranks in the battles of the civil war.
The proletarians of Leningrad must now, too, set an example of organisation, discipline and solidarity in preparing for defence of the Soviet Union against the enemies of the working class.
I have no doubt that the Leningrad Osoaviakhim, which is a mass organisation of the Leningrad proletarians, will fulfil its duty to the land of the proletarian
dictatorship.

Дело укрепления обороны Советской страны есть дело всех трудящихся.
Ленинградские пролетарии были первыми в боях гражданской войны.
Ленинградские пролетарии должны и теперь показать пример организованности,
дисциплины и сплоченности в подготовке обороны Советского Союза от врагов
рабочего класса.
Не сомневаюсь, что Ленинградский Осоавиахим, являющийся массовой организацией
ленинградских пролетариев, – выполнит свой долг перед страной пролетарской
диктатуры.

La obra de fortalecer la defensa del País Soviético debe ser la obra de todos los trabajadores. Los proletarios de Leningrado fueron los primeros en los combates de la guerra civil. Los proletarios de Leningrado también ahora deben dar ejemplo de organización, de disciplina y de unidad en la preparación de la defensa de la Unión Soviética contra los enemigos de la clase obrera. No dudo de que el Osoaviajim de Leningrado, organización de masas de los proletarios leningradenses, cumplirá con su deber ante el país de la dictadura proletaria. J. Stalin.
