Greetings on the Day of the Tenth Anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League Greetings to the Leninist Young Communist League on its tenth anniversary!
The Leninist Young Communist League was, and is, the young reserve of our revolution. Tens and hundreds of thousands of the finest representatives of the younger generation of workers and peasants have been trained in the ranks of the Young Communist League, received their revolutionary steeling and entered our Party, our Soviets, our trade unions, our Red Army, our Red Navy, our co-operatives, and our cultural organisations, to serve as the successors of the Bolshevik old guard. The Young Communist League has succeeded in this difficult task because it has worked under the guidance of the Party; it has been able in its activities to combine study in general, and the study of Leninism in particular, with its day-to-day practical work; it has been able to educate the younger generation of working men and women and peasant men and women in the spirit of internationalism; it has been able to find a common language between the old and the young Leninists, between the old and the young guard; it has been able to subordinate all its work to the interests of the dictatorship of the proletariat and the victory of socialist construction.
It is owing to this alone that the Young Communist League has succeeded in holding aloft the banner of Lenin.
Let us hope that in the future, too, the Young Communist League will succeed in performing its duty towards our proletariat and the international proletariat. Greetings to the two-million reserve of our Party, the Leninist Young Communist League!

Привет ленинскому комсомолу в день его 10-летнего юбилея!
Ленинский комсомол был и остается молодым резервом нашей революции. Десятки и
сотни тысяч лучших представителей молодого рабоче-крестьянского поколения
воспитались в рядах комсомола, получили революционный закал и влились в нашу
партию, в наши Советы, в наши профсоюзы, в нашу Красную Армию, в наш Красный
Флот, в нашу кооперацию, в наши культурные организации – на смену старой гвардии
большевиков.
Комсомолу удавалась эта трудная задача потому, что он вел свою работу под
руководством партии, он умел сочетать в своей деятельности учебу вообще,
ленинскую учебу в особенности, с повседневной практической работой, он умел
воспитывать молодое поколение рабочих и работниц, крестьян и крестьянок в духе
интернационализма, он умел найти общий язык между старыми и молодыми ленинцами,
между старой и молодой гвардией, он умел подчинить всю свою работу интересам
диктатуры пролетариата и победы социалистического строительства.
Только поэтому удалось комсомолу держать высоко знамя Ленина.
Будем надеяться, что комсомолу удастся выполнить и впредь свой долг перед нашим
и международным пролетариатом.
Двухмиллионному резерву нашей партии, ленинскому комсомолу – привет!

Saludo con motivo del décimo aniversario de la fundación de la U.J.C.L. de la U.R.S.S. ¡Saludo al Komsomol leninista en el décimo aniversario de su fundación! El Komsomol leninista ha sido y es la joven reserva de nuestra revolución. Centenares de miles de los mejores representantes de la joven generación obrera y campesina se han educado en las filas del Komsomol, han adquirido en ellas temple revolucionario y se han incorporado a nuestro Partido, a nuestros Soviets, a nuestros sindicatos, a nuestro Ejército Rojo, a nuestra Flota Roja, a nuestras cooperativas y a nuestras organizaciones culturales, para relevar a la vieja guardia bolchevique. El Komsomol ha logrado cumplir esta difícil tarea porque ha trabajado bajo la dirección del Partido, ha sabido conjugar en su actividad el estudio en general, y el estudio del leninismo en particular, con el trabajo práctico cotidiano, ha sabido educar a la joven generación de obreros y obreras, de campesinos y campesinas, en el espíritu del internacionalismo, ha sabido lograr la compenetración entre los viejos y los jóvenes leninistas, entre la vieja y la joven guardia, ha sabido subordinar todo su trabajo a los intereses de la dictadura del proletariado y de la victoria de la edificación socialista. Esa es la razón de que el Komsomol haya logrado mantener en alto la bandera de Lenin. Confiemos en que el Komsomol sabrá seguir cumpliendo su deber para con nuestro proletariado y para con el proletariado internacional. ¡Saludo al Komsomol leninista, a los dos millones de jóvenes que constituyen la reserva de nuestro Partido! ¡Viva el Komsomol!
