Dear Comrades, Working Men and Women of Krasny Treugolnik, accept my friendly congratulations on the introduction of the seven-hour day at the Krasny Treugolnik factory.
Your brothers and sisters in the capitalist countries work ten, twelve and fourteen hours a day. We, the working men and women of our workers’ and peasants’ state, will from now on work seven hours a day. Let it be known to all that the workers of the U.S.S.R. stand in the foremost ranks of the working-class of the world! May our banner—the banner of the building of socialism—become the banner of the workers of all countries! Accept my apologies for not being able to be present personally at your celebrations. J. Уважаемые товарищи, рабочие и работницы “Красного Треугольника”! Примите мой
дружеский привет по случаю перехода “Красного Треугольника” на 7-часовой рабочий
день.
В капиталистических странах ваши братья и сестры работают по 10–12–14 часов. Мы,
рабочие и работницы нашего рабоче-крестьянского государства, будем работать
отныне 7 часов в день.
Пусть знают все, что рабочие СССР стоят в первых рядах рабочего класса всего мира!
Пусть наше знамя – знамя строительства социализма – станет знаменем рабочих всех стран!
Прошу извинения, что не имею возможности приехать к вам для участия в вашем торжестве.

Estimados camaradas, obreros y obreras de “Krasni Treugólnik”: Os saludo cordialmente con motivo del paso de “Krasni Treugólnik” a la jornada de trabajo de siete horas. En los países capitalistas, vuestros hermanos y hermanas trabajan diez, doce y hasta catorce horas diarias. Nosotros, los obreros y las obreras de nuestro Estado obrero y campesino, trabajaremos a partir de ahora siete horas al día. Sepan todos que los obreros de la U.R.S.S. se encuentran en las primeras filas de la clase obrera del mundo entero. Sea nuestra bandera, la bandera de la edificación del socialismo, la enseña de los obreros de todos los países. Pido que me disculpéis por no poder asistir a vuestra fiesta. J.
