Your congratulations and greetings I place to the credit of the great Party of the working class which bore me and reared me in its own image and likeness. And just because I place them to the credit of our glorious Leninist Party, I make bold to tender you my Bolshevik thanks.
You need have no doubt, comrades, that I am prepared in the future, too, to devote to the cause of the working class, to the cause of the proletarian revolution and world communism, all my strength, all my ability and, if need be, all my blood, drop by drop.

Ваши поздравления и приветствия отношу на счет великой партии рабочего класса,
родившей и воспитавшей меня по образу своему и подобию. И именно потому, что
отношу их на счет нашей славной ленинской партии, беру на себя смелость ответить
вам большевистской благодарностью.
Можете не сомневаться, товарищи, что я готов и впредь отдать делу рабочего
класса, делу пролетарской революции и мирового коммунизма все свои силы, все
свои способности и, если понадобится, всю свою кровь, каплю за каплей.

Vuestros saludos y felicitaciones los traslado al gran Partido de la clase obrera, que me engendró y educó a su imagen y semejanza. Y precisamente porque los traslado a nuestro glorioso Partido leninista, me tomo el atrevimiento de expresaros en respuesta mi reconocimiento de bolchevique. Podéis tener la seguridad, camaradas, de que estoy dispuesto a seguir entregando a la causa de la clase obrera, a la causa de la revolución proletaria y del comunismo mundial todas mis energías, toda mi capacidad y, si necesario fuera, toda mi sangre, gota a gota. Con profunda estimación J. Stalin. 21 de diciembre de 1929.
