Fraternal greetings to the working men and working women, to the technicians and specialists and the entire executive staff of the machine and tractor stations on the occasion of the pre-schedule fulfilment of the plan for sowing 18,000,000 hectares.
Congratulations on your victory, comrades!
Last year about 2,000,000 hectares of collectivefarm fields were sown by machine and tractor stations. This year—more than 18,000,000 hectares. Last year the machine and tractor stations served 2,347 collective farms. This year—46,514 collective farms. From the wooden plough to the tractor—such is the path travelled by the peasant farms of our country. Let everyone know that the working class of the Soviet Union is firmly and confidently promoting the technical re-equipment of its ally, the labouring peasantry!
Let us hope that the machine and tractor stations will not rest content with the results achieved, but will, by way of a counter-plan, increase the 18,000,000 hectares of sown area assigned in the plan (and already fulfilled) to 20,000,000 hectares.
TO ALL MACHINE AND TRACTORS STATIONS
Let us hope that the machine and tractor stations will not stop at this, but will confidently tackle their next tasks: to prepare about 5,000,000 hectares of fallow land, successfully carry out the harvesting campaign, do about 15,000,000 hectares of autumn ploughing, raise the winter-crop area to 8,000,000 hectares, organise a further thousand machine and tractor stations and thus establish the basis for serving the overwhelming majority of collective farms next year. Let everybody know that the Soviet Union is being transformed from a country of small-peasant economy and backward agricultural technique into a country of large-scale, collective economy with the most modern agricultural technique! Forward, comrades, to new victories!

Братский привет рабочим и работницам, техникам и специалистам и всему
руководящему составу машинно-тракторных станций по случаю досрочного выполнения
посевного плана в 18 миллионов гектаров.
С победой, товарищи!
В прошлом году было засеяно машинно-тракторными станциями около 2 миллионов
гектаров колхозных полей. В этом году – свыше 18 миллионов гектаров. В прошлом
году машинно-тракторные станции обслужили 2.347 колхозов. В этом году – 46.514
колхозов. Таков путь, – от сохи к трактору, – пройденный крестьянским хозяйством
нашей страны. Пусть знают все, что рабочий класс Советского Союза твердо и
уверенно ведет вперед дело технического перевооружения своего союзника,
трудового крестьянства!
Будем надеяться, что машинно-тракторные станции не успокоятся на достигнутых
результатах и заданный (уже выполненный) план в 18 миллионов гектаров посева
расширят в порядке встречного плана до 20 миллионов гектаров.
Будем надеяться, что машинно-тракторные станции не остановятся на этом и
уверенно пойдут навстречу к своим новым очередным задачам с тем, чтобы
подготовить пар в миллионов 5 гектаров, с успехом провести уборочную кампанию,
поднять зябь в миллионов 15 гектаров, довести озимые посевы до 8 миллионов
гектаров, организовать новую тысячу машинно-тракторных станций и создать таким
образом почву для охвата в будущем году подавляющего большинства колхозов.
Пусть знают все, что Советский Союз из страны мелкокрестьянского хозяйства и
отсталой земледельческой техники превращается в страну крупного коллективного
хозяйства и передовой земледельческой техники!

Envío un saludo fraternal a los obreros y a las obreras, a los peritos y especialistas y a todo el personal dirigente de las estaciones de máquinas y tractores, que han cumplido con antelación el plan de siembra de dieciocho millones de hectáreas. ¡Enhorabuena, camaradas, por vuestra victoria! El año pasado, las estaciones de máquinas y tractores sembraron cerca de dos millones de hectáreas en los campos koljósianos. Este año, más de dieciocho millones de hectáreas. El año pasado, las estaciones de máquinas y tractores prestaron sus servicios a 2.347 koljóses. Este año, a 46.514. Tal es el camino -del arado primitivo al tractor- recorrido por la economía campesina de nuestro país. ¡Que todos sepan que la clase obrera de la Unión Soviética lleva adelante con mano firme y segura el reequipamiento técnico de su aliado, el campesinado trabajador! Esperamos que las estaciones de máquinas y tractores no se darán por satisfechas con los resultados conseguidos y que, por medio de un contra plan, ampliarán hasta veinte millones de hectáreas el plan inicial de dieciocho millones de hectáreas (ya cumplido). Esperamos que las estaciones de máquinas y tractores no se detendrán en esto y saldrán con paso seguro al encuentro de sus nuevas tareas inmediatas a fin de preparar el barbecho de unos cinco millones de hectáreas, realizar con buen éxito la campaña de recolección, llevar a cabo el laboreo de otoño en unos quince millones de hectáreas, ampliar la siembra de cereales de otoño hasta ocho millones de hectáreas, organizar un nuevo millar de estaciones de máquinas y tractores y crear, de tal modo, la base para atender el año que viene a la abrumadora mayoría de los koljóses. ¡Que todos sepan que la Unión Soviética se convierte, de país de pequeñas haciendas campesinas y atrasada técnica agrícola, en país de grandes haciendas colectivas y de avanzada técnica agrícola! ¡Adelante, camaradas, hacia nuevas victorias!
