An error made by a copyist has crept into the CC letter to the regional and territorial committees regarding the reasons for changes in the leadership of the OGPU. Point 4 of the letter reads: "The OGPU is and remains the unsheathed sword of the working class, which has accurately and skillfully defeated the enemy." Instead, it should read: "The OGPU is and remains the unsheathed sword of the working class, which accurately and skillfully strikes the enemy." Please correct the error and communicate the correction to the secretaries of the regional committees.

Поскребышеву для Кагановича.
В письмо ЦК обкомам и крайкомам о причинах изменений в руководящем составе ОГПУ вкралась ошибка, допущенная переписчиком. В пункте 4 письма сказано: “ОГПУ есть и остается обнаженным мечом рабочего класса, метко и умело разбившим врага”. Вместо этого должно быть: “ОГПУ есть и остается обнаженным мечом рабочего класса, метко и умело разящим врага”. Просьба исправить ошибку и сообщить исправление секретарям обкомов.
