Tashkent. CC CP(b) of Uzbekistan. To Comrade Andreev.
If the plenum demands the arrest of Ikramov, he may be arrested; if not, for now it will suffice to relieve him of his post as secretary and send him to the disposal of the CC VKP(b). Ikramov's further fate is to be decided in Moscow after your return.
How do the local responsible workers regard the candidacy of Segizbaev? What kind of man is Tyurabekov? Who will remain as chairman of the Council of People's Commissars? Who will be temporary first secretary of the CC of Uzbekistan? Are you planning to visit Tajikistan? When?

Note:
"Since there remained no doubts whatsoever that Ikramov is an enemy," Andreev wrote to Stalin, "the plenum of the CC of Uzbekistan unanimously demanded the arrest of Ikramov and adopted unanimously the resolution, introduced by the Uzbek workers, to remove him from the post of secretary, expel him from the party, and immediately arrest Ikramov, after which Ikramov was arrested."
Andreev, Andrei Andreevich (1895-1971). In 1920-1922 -- secretary of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions. In 1922-1927 -- chairman of the CC of the railwaymen's trade union. In 1927-1930 -- secretary of the North Caucasus kraikom of the VKP(b). In 1930-1931 -- chairman of the Central Control Commission of the VKP(b), People's Commissar of the Workers' and Peasants' Inspectorate of the USSR, and deputy chairman of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR. In 1931-1935 -- People's Commissar of Railways of the USSR. In 1924-1925 and 1935-1946 -- secretary of the CC VKP(b). From 1939 -- chairman of the Party Control Commission.

Если пленум будет требовать ареста Икрамова, можно его арестовать, если нет — можно ограничиться пока освобождением его от поста секретаря и направить его в распоряжение ЦК ВКП(б). Дальнейшую судьбу Икрамова решить в Москве после Вашего возвращения в Москву.
Как относятся местные ответработники к кандидатуре Сегизбаева? Что за человек Тюрабеков? Кто останется предом СНК? Кто будет временным первым секретарем ЦК Узбекистана? Думаете ли побывать в Таджикии? Когда?

«Так как не осталось никаких сомнений, что Икрамов — враг, — писал Андреев Сталину, — пленум ЦК Узбекистана единодушно потребовал ареста Икрамова и принял единогласно решение, внесенное узбекскими работниками, о снятии его с поста секретаря, исключении из партии и немедленном аресте Икрамова, после чего Икрамов был арестован».
Андреев Андрей Андреевич (1895–1971). В 1920–1922 годах — секретарь ВЦСПС. В 1922–1927 — председатель ЦК профсоюза железнодорожников. В 1927–1930 — секретарь Северо-Кавказского крайкома ВКП(б). В 1930–1931 — председатель ЦКК ВКП(б), нарком РКИ СССР и заместитель председателя СНК СССР. В 1931–1935 — нарком путей сообщения СССР. В 1924–1925, 1935–1946 — секретарь ЦК ВКП(б). С 1939 — председатель КПК.
