Message to W. Churchill (Correspondence Vol. 1, No. 290)

1944-07-04 Correspondence V1, No. 290, to Churchill

Your message of July 1 received.
I am grateful for your high praise of the successes of the Red Army, which is now fighting the second round of its summer offensive. We are all confident that the temporary difficulties in Normandy of which you write will not prevent the British and U.S. forces from making good use of their superiority over the enemy in aircraft and armour, from further exploiting the success of their offensive operations.
Regards and best wishes from us all.
