Your message about announcing the link-up of our armies in Germany reached me on April 21. I have nothing against your proposal for accepting the hour for the
announcement suggested by Gen. Eisenhower, that is, twelve o'clock noon
Washington Time.
I am sending a similar message to Mr Churchill.
