Message to W. Churchill (Correspondence Vol. 1, No. 496)

1945-06-23 Correspondence V1, No. 496, to Churchill

Your message of June 22 about the King visiting Berlin, and your previous message on the same subject, have reached me. My plan did not envisage a meeting with the King, it had in view the conference of the three of us, on which you, the President and myself had exchanged messages earlier. However, if you think it necessary that I should meet the King, I have no objection to your plan.
