I have just received a telegram from Mao Zedong in which he reports that the CC of the CPC has once again discussed the situation and has decided after all to render military assistance to the Korean comrades, despite the insufficient armament of the Chinese troops. I am awaiting detailed communications from Mao Zedong on this matter.
In connection with this new decision by the Chinese comrades, I ask that you temporarily postpone the execution of the telegram sent to you yesterday regarding the evacuation of North Korea and the withdrawal of Korean troops to the north.

Штыкову для товарища Ким Ир Сена.
Только что получил телеграмму от Мао Цзэдуна, где он сообщает, что ЦК КПК вновь обсудил положение и решил все же оказать военную помощь корейским товарищам, несмотря на недостаточное вооружение китайских войск. Жду подробных сообщений от Мао Цзэдуна об этом деле.
В связи с этим новым решением китайских товарищей прошу отложить временно исполнение посланной Вам вчера телеграммы об эвакуации Северной Кореи и об отходе корейских войск на север.
